about Missy
Missy brings nearly 20 years of non-profit experience to PBS12. She has been fortunate to work at outstanding institutions in Colorado, including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the American Red Cross Regional Chapter for Colorado & Wyoming, and the University of Colorado Boulder. At each of these great organizations, Missy built a community of passionate supporters who invested in the organizations’ mission and elevated their shared priorities. Missy also has corporate experience from her time on the marketing and sponsorship team at Cherry Creek Shopping Center. She enjoys meeting people in the community and building unique relationships with organizations to fortify and celebrate their brand, while contributing to a robust Colorado economy.
Missy’s career has led to many exciting and varying experiences including the coordination of the Century of Champions Red Cross Ball, celebrating 100 years of the Red Cross in Colorado; the implementation of the Buffalo Alienware and Esports Lounge in the University Memorial Center at CU Boulder; and serving on the board of Elevate Quantum, securing an EDA Tech hub designation in the state and garnering over $70 million for the economic development of the quantum industry in Colorado.
Missy is a proud 4th generation Colorado native, and a proud alumna of the University of Colorado Boulder. Missy’s favorite moments are with her daughter and their puppy, spending time with family and friends.
