Denver’s rite of spring observance of Memorial Day is held at the historic POF Hall just south of the state capitol. The respected holiday focused “Tribute” ceremony honors Colorado’s fallen heroes in the presence of families, friends, military / political figures and the public.
Features: Buckley All Branch military color guard, touching biographies & stories, Wreath Remembrance ceremony honoring the fallen from past wars, “Bold Reflections” singers, music, patriotic inspiration & the Navy bell “toll”.
The popular Tribute was founded in 2000 to honor veterans and military sacrifice from all wars. After September 11th, 2001, the ceremonies focused on casualties from the Iraq, Afghanistan & War on Terror. The observance continues to honor all Colorado heroes on Memorial Day weekend.
The annual non profit Tribute is free & open to the public.
