The Denver Young Artists Orchestra is wrapping up their season with the final concert of their 40th Anniversary, Transformations.  This top-notch concert features a piece composed by student musician, Leslie Wilburn, titled, Valse Scherzando, and a performance of the Barber Violin concerto by concerto competition winner, Christina Johnson.  The top-level Young Artists Orchestra performs the challenging and moving, Mahler’s Symphony no. 5, highlighting DYAO’s youth orchestra programs that represent the future of classical music.  Since, 1977, DYAO has been instrumental in nurturing the next generation of musicians across the Front Range, ages 7-23.  All ages are welcome.
