Event Details

SMALLTALK is a new program for people curious about miniatures – small objects made by artists (i.e. you). Aside from the traditional houses and trains, they can be anything: scenes from your favorite books or TV shows, taxidermy, paintings, robots, terrariums, books, forensically accurate recreated crime scenes — whatever you’re into but smaller.

YOU are a creative person. WE are a museum looking to enrich Denver’s miniature community. Maybe you’re full of ideas but have no clue where to get started. Maybe you’re not sure if making miniatures is something you’re into, but you’re willing to try. Maybe you’re just the best kind of weird. No matter — we at the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys officially want to be your friends.

For this first SMALLTALK, we will be talking about how to get started making miniatures, giving away kits and brainstorming ideas for future programs based on what everyone is interested in. FREE with museum admission. Buy ahead of time using the eventbrite link above and pay only $4! See you there!
