Event Details

Called ”virtuosos on clarinet and saxophone,”  by the New York Times, Peter & Will Anderson are one of the most extraordinary set of brothers performing music today. They’re known for their exciting arrangements of jazz classics and fresh original music. They hail from Washington, DC, and moved to NYC to attend Julliard, and have performed with the Jimmy Heath Big Band, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Village Vanguard Orchestra, Wycliffe Gordon, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Paquito D’Rivera, Kenny Barron, Bob Wilber, and Albert “Tootie” Heath. They were recognized internationally as teenagers by Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead, the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, and NFAA Young Arts.  Performing for us as a trio with a jazz guitarist, we are proud to bring their upbeat, toe tapping music to the city of Centennial.

This concert is part of Good Shepherd’s Music with a Mission Concert Series and is free and open to all. A “love offering” will be collected with all donations going to St. Clare’s Ministries and St. Francis Center who both serve the needy in our community.
