Mollie O’Brien and husband Rich Moore with Bonnie and Taylor Sims of Bonnie of the Clydes will perform at a benefit concert for the Longmont Theatre Company 60th Anniversary Celebration, Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.
Grammy winner Mollie has long been known as a singer with no musical boundaries while Rich is a powerhouse guitar player as the two move between blues, traditional folk and jazz to rock and roll. The duo will also be performing music from their latest release Love Runner on Remington Road Records.
Bonnie and Taylor are well known to the Longmont music scene. Awarded ‘Best Country Band’ for 2013 & 2014 from the Denver Westword’s Yearly ‘Best Of’ poll, they have recorded and released 3 albums independently, starting with the self titled debut, followed by Wrong Side Up, and the most current, Music for the People: Part 1.
The Longmont Theatre Company (LTC) has been entertaining audiences and providing quality productions for 60 Years. The benefit concert is the kick-off to a series of events in the coming year celebrating the theatre’s history of providing quality live theatre.
