The International Sportsmen’s Exposition (ISE) opens Thursday, January 12, 2017 and remains open daily through Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Colorado Convention Center located at 700 14th Street in Downtown Denver.
The International Sportsmen’s Expo is the region’s largest presentation of nearby and worldwide travel destinations, plus fishing, hunting, off-roading, watersports and outdoor products. This event draws attendees from throughout Colorado as well as Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas who are looking for outdoor fun of all types here in Colorado and around the world.
International Sportsmen’s Expos’ 40th anniversary in Colorado will celebrate Colorado’s fishing and hunting heritage, and spotlight today’s popular outdoor activities, including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and off-roading–often with products that hadn’t been invented when ISE came to town in 1977.
New for 2017 include bush craft clinics by best-selling author David Canterbury, “Explore” seminars by tourism groups, fun plus practical training sessions in the Sporting-Dog Arena by Gypsum-based Canine Country School, and a Western Region Elk Calling Contest, sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In addition, the show offers daily presentations by women who own outdoor businesses in Colorado. The show’s very popular Outdoor Product Showcase returns and now includes a seminar featuring local gear.
Hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the expanded Youth Fair offers a variety of outdoor experiences—all gear and instructors provided–including catching a live fish, RC offroad track, Campfire Theater presentations, shooting a bow and arrow, learning about live birds of prey, and green-screen photo experience.
