09octAll Day17"inspired community, inspired action Fall Fund drive"

Event Details

KGNU’s Fall Membership Drive is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 17. The fall membership campaign is one of two major fundraising drives held by the station each year and contributes to the resources that help stay informed, educated, and entertained.

The drive will feature special music, news, public affairs programs, thank you gifts, and more!

Every day KGNU Community Radio helps illuminate and deepen your understanding of the day’s most critical events. For more than 43 years, KGNU Community Radio has been a beacon of trusted news, eclectic music, and enlightened conversations upon which thousands of people rely.

“Our fall fund drive theme – ‘Inspired Community, Inspired Action’ is both a healing balm and rousing response as the world continues to change at a fast and furious pace,” said Tim Russo, KGNU station manager. “Since our lives were turned upside down by the pandemic, we’re all finding new ways to advocate for open dialogue and democratic participation. Even in normal times, financial sustainability is a major challenge for community radio stations, and your support now will continue a diversity of voices, opinions, and the amazing music only KGNU can provide.”

KGNU works 24/7 to connect communities on and off-air highlighting overlooked or under-represented voices in the community through our diverse music, news, public affairs programs, and radio training programs for youth and adults.

Make a contribution anytime now through Oct. 17 at 11:00 a.m. MST and you will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets to the WinterWonderGrass Music Festival in Steamboat Springs, Feb. 25-27, 2022. Sustainers of Local Radio (SOLR) members will automatically be entered into this drawing.

Seventy percent of KGNU’s funding comes from individual donors. We are currently seeking donations and community partners to participate in the Fall Fund Drive. Be powerful. Be remarkable. Give now. To get involved go to “give.kgnu.org” or call (303) 449-4885.
