A Colorado super-group, gogoLab is an improvisational power trio that creates live music inspired by films (real or imagined.) They are joined by trumpeter AnDre Mali for this night of live danceable jazz/funk/improv infused goodness with tight pockets, heavy endings and incredible solos.

Brian McRae, drums, has recorded with Sam Bush, Jerry Dougls, John Medeski, Steve Berlin, and many others.
Bijou Barbosa, bass, has performed with Herbie Mann, Dave Grusin, Don Grusin, Bryan Lynch, Russell Ferrante, Lee Ritenour.
Eric Moon, keyboards, (you heard him at the Katie Glassman show at the Dairy last Spring) has recorded with Mollie O’Brien, Thinking Plague, Ron Miles, Jill Sobule, and many more.
Andre Mali, trumpet, won a North American Music Award in Toronto, composed the music for the Independent film noir, “A Taste of Desperation,” and has been featured on recordings with numerous artists ranging from Gospel to Rock music.
This will be the only performance at which they will be accompanied/inspired by a 16mm print the noir film “Kiss Me Deadly,” courtesy of CU International Film Series. From a deserted highway at night to a boxing gym to a scene of a possible murder, gogoLab takes you there.
