Empire Lyric Players return to the Lakewood Cultural Center after last summer’s successful 60th season. This year, ELPs brings you Patience (or Bunthorne’s Bride), a musical satire mocking hipsters of the Victorian era. It features pompous poets, languishing ladies, a musical milkmaid, officious officers and a disguised duke. Come and experience the music and lyrics of Gilbert and Sullivan at their creative peak with the Empire Lyric Players and their full live orchestra.
