Event Details

In this hands-on workshop with artist coach and author of The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing, Gigi Rosenberg, grant writers learn to take a good idea and transform it into a compelling grant proposal. Free and open to the public. RSVP with Lauren Click at clickl@boulderlibrary.org or 720-564-2355.

Gigi Rosenberg is an author, artist coach and editor of Professional Artist, the national business magazine for visual artists, with 20,000 subscribers. She wrote The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing (Watson-Guptill) and coaches artists to help them find funding, blast through creative blocks and launch vibrant marketing plans.

Discover how to research funding, decode application questions, and let the grant-writing process focus career goals and mission engagement. In the workshop, based on Gigi’s book, Gigi will demonstrate how to play the matchmaking game with potential funders, enlist a team to help craft a proposal, follow-up with a funder, and create a budget that makes your application irresistible. Bring any writing you have about yourself or your work, including artist statement, project descriptions, or reviews.
