Spend your Saturday mornings this February getting fit for a cause! Education Through Music-Colorado will be hosting 4 virtual workout sessions with live music. Tickets are $25 for each class and proceeds go to Education Through Music-Colorado so that we can pursue our mission of providing music education to students at under-resourced schools in Colorado. All classes will be streamed via Zoom. You will receive a link to join your fitness class 24 hours prior to the event and then 1 hour prior to each event. All classes are scheduled for 10am MT. Please note that the classes vary in workout type so plan your registration accordingly!


February 6: Yoga Hour with Sara and live music by the Solazur Duo. An all levels vinyasa flow class that will bring you back to center and help you open from the heart. Oftentimes when we pursue heart opening we focus on expansion. This class will draw your awareness inward by emphasizing alignment toward your center, building trust into our experience, and pulling toward ourselves in order to give from a place of full support and knowing. We don’t have to give it all away to have an open heart. As Brene Brown says, ‘strong back, soft front, wild heart.

February 13: Family Fit Time with Gin and music by ETM-CO teachers Luke and Cody. Bring the whole family for a fun circuit style workout in your living room and start your weekend off with a little sweat! Bring a water bottle and towel and have plenty of space to move and jump about. Bodyweight, cardio, and partner based moves with upbeat pop tunes! 


February 20: The WERK. Pilates with Mychele and It Takes Two DJs.  You may think that Pilates requires being flexible or a specific body type, but that’s not what this is about. This class will help you connect with your body on a deeper level and do things that you didn’t think you were capable of. Expect to stretch, sweat, flow, and experience the classical Pilates work with a twist to upbeat and mellow music. 

February 27: Resistance and Cardio Hour with Gin and DJ Jeff. Come tune in for a killer full body resistance workout targeting upper and lower body and core coupled with HIIT style cardio finisher. DJ Jeff will be spinning sweet beats to keep you motivated and moving. Please bring water, towel and dumbbells & resistance bands or weighted items from around the house (ex: jug of detergent, backpack filled with books, etc.) and have a step available (ex: stable chair or cooler will do). All movements can be done with modifications.
