It’s getting chilly! What do different plants and animals do to prepare for winter? Join us for our Family Fun Day to learn how different Colorado mammals, birds and insects prepare for winter. Explore the museum with a lens for how arctic animals deal with cold climates.

Activities include:

Marmot hibernation calendars
Winter insect peek-a-boo
Autumn art with vegetable and fruit prints
Ode to a fallen leaf
