Ballet Ariel’s company opens its 2020-21 season with The Nutcracker Suite. Ballet Ariel’s The Nutcracker Suite is a one act performance, the perfect family getaway during this holiday season, celebrating the magical journey of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince. An array of treats from around the world come together in a delightful celebration to honor the brave Clara with chocolate from Spain, coffee from Arabia, tea from China and candy canes from Russia. Known for its beautiful and imaginative interpretation of this holiday classic, Ballet Ariel’s professional company production of The Nutcracker Suite is shorter than the full production with no intermission, yet retains the spirit of the season, incomparable choreography and the same outstanding artistry in which audiences delight.
A stellar cast, features Colorado Ballet guest artist Melissa Zoebisch as Clara and Alexandru Glusacov as the Nutcracker Prince. Special guest artist and Denver dance legend, Paul Noel Fiorino, will return, once again, as Drosselmeyer. Directed by Ilena Norton and Patricia Renzetti, The Nutcracker Suite brings joy to the holidays.
