Ballet Ariel presents its imaginative and beautiful version of this enchanting holiday tale of a young girl who dreams of a courageous Nutcracker Prince, a villainous Mouse King and a magical journey to an extraordinary kingdom.
Ballet Ariel’s The Nutcracker is a traditional interpretation punctuated with exciting choreography to create an inventive ballet performed by Ballet Ariel’s professional company and Ballet Ariel School students to Tchaikovsky’s timeless and iconic score.
The classical, yet dynamic original choreography by Director Ilena Norton is characterized by intricate patterns and elegant movements. Creative collaborators include Oleg Dedogryuk and Patricia Renzetti. Special guest artist and Denver dance legend, Paul Noel Fiorino, will reprise his role as Drosselmeyer.
Ballet Ariel’s The Nutcracker will be presented at 2 p.m. December 10, 11, 17, 18, 22 and 23.
An evening performance will be presented on Saturday, December 17 at 7 p.m.
