Ballet Ariel will once again delight audiences of all ages with two performances of A Little Cinderella with Tea Party, February 25th and 26th at the Cleo Parker Robinson Theatre.
Ballet Ariel has abbreviated its full-length Cinderella just for little audience members treating them to a perfect afternoon of magic and wonder. Little hearts will be spellbound as the flower fairies dance with the coachmen, elegant ladies waltz and Cinderella captivates Prince Charming. Ever hopeful, the wicked stepsisters carry on wildly in a vain attempt to entice the Prince but they are no match for Cinderella’s charm and grace.
Like the full-length ballet, A Little Cinderella is performed to Sergei Prokofiev’s entrancing score. The original choreography by Ballet Ariel Director Ilena Norton is sophisticated, dynamic and entertaining yet engaging for guests of any age. Collaborating choreographers, Oleg Dedogryuk and Gregory Gonzales, contribute dances in their unique styles, perfectly complimenting Norton’s classically beautiful style.
Director Ilena Norton describes A Little Cinderella as, “the perfect short, story ballet that young children will enjoy”. The very special Tea Party with Cinderella, Prince Charming and other costumed cast members on stage following the performance is a treat little ones won’t want to miss.
A Little Cinderella and Tea Party will be performed on Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m. at Cleo Parker Robinson Theatre, 119 Park Avenue West, Denver.
