Event Details

Come round to the back of the Dairy on an afternoon or evening for a live performance. We use our loading dock as a stage, and our shaded parking lot for a safely distanced and masked audience area, to enjoy the irreplaceable experience of real live people putting on a show. Beyond your attendance, we ask that you help us create the space for this to happen by following the appropriate guidelines, protecting yourselves and each other in the communal act of art appreciation with mutual respect. Each party will maintain safe distance from others, as marked on the asphalt, and wear a face-covering at all times. Let this be an example of how our community holds each other up in times of need.

Concessions including beer and wine will be available for purchase with credit card only.

We will be collecting a cell phone number for your reservation at the time of check out. We will only use this number in the case of emergency instructions via text message such as a weather delay.

The Colorado-based Altius Quartet has dedicated itself to expanding traditional notions of the string quartet. Members Hannah Kennedy and Andrew Giordano (violins), Allyson Stibbards (viola), and Erin Patterson (cello) are equally at home as performers, mentors, and educators, and strive to fulfill each of those roles at the highest possible level. Altius has received critical acclaim for their recordings, including Fanfare Magazine describing their 2017 release Shostakovich: String Quartets Nos. 7, 8, and 9” as “visceral and wrenching”.

The Altius Quartet is dedicated to expanding traditional notions of the string quartet through inclusivity, versatility, and community engagement. Through the evolving art of chamber music, they facilitate relationships with diverse audiences and underserved communities. They perform and elevate music by living composers paired with the most celebrated string quartet repertoire in an accessible and welcoming atmosphere.

Altius Quartet enthusiastically supports the notion that education is the future of the artistic world; they seek to provide a platform for growth, learning, and creativity, whether in a classroom or performing on a concert stage.
