Event Details

Join us for an exciting night of stars, planets, solar systems and s’mores. We’ll begin with a presentation by our very own retired astronomy professor, Win Pendleton. Pendleton will spend time discussing our amazing solar system and the constellations that exist in it. He will be showing images of the stars and planets that make our universe so unique. Then we will venture outside for a campfire, s’mores and a chance to look at the planets and other objects through our telescope.

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to check-in and to possibly take a look at the sun through our solar telescope. Please dress appropriately for the weather as a portion of this class will be outside.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. A parent, guardian or other supervisory adult must register and attend with a child. If that adult is not the child’s parent/guardian, the child must bring the signed waiver (pdf) from a parent/guardian.
