Event Details

There is the Doha or Song of realization expressing from love to the most nonconceptual themes like great emptiness, the unconditioned, boundless love, ecstatic devotion. People used to sing them to open their own and each other’s hearts to experience the bitter as well sweet flavor of either ordinary or extraordinary truth of human life including the interior realm of spirituality.
Anam Thubten grew up writing poems in his native Tibetan language. Since living in the west, his poems started to develop a new flavor. At this poetry gathering, he’ll read some of his poems with an intimate commentary that links each poem and life’s situation where he was in when they were written.
