James David, Colorado State University’s Associate Professor of Composition and Music Theory, is creating a commissioned work to complete the Symphony’s 2019-2020 Masterwork concerts. Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection,” one of his most popular and successful works, is a rare production in all aspects: double brass, full choir, and soloists.  The Larimer Chorale joins the FCS as this monumental experience in sound and emotion brings our Platinum Season 70 celebration to a glittering conclusion.
